Surely there were 301 Spartans in that battle! At least in the first two original films, as the guy turned up there and re-joined his unit, after being banned from taking part in the campaign first off due to his father being found out to be a traitor so something?Still, I suppose there's no telling just how true to recorded history they were written, is there.
