How true Ben. It was the one thing I forgot to mention above, the sheer volume of interesting kit which I'm sure would sell in the UK, which is already available, but the older more 'entrenched' distributors won't take on.
Cash flow and stock control is what they think about, which to me seems to demonstrate once again that some of these companies are started by enthusiasts and end up being run by accountants. With an even tiighter grip at the current moment of course.
However, having said that. We did find some new kit with some smaller companies who always move faster and lighter on their feet, and generallyt are a joy to work with. It was also good to find some kit which the manufacturers already made, and joinly put pressure on the importers to get stock in. So we should be having some useful bits nearer Xmas.
From the information I have, Helsport and Hilleberg are compared like for like quality wise, and someone once told me there is quite a bit of agression between them as to who has used who's idea first over the years.
