my favoured jacket is my mountain equipment eiger. it fits me well, not too many pockets and performs well. however the valcro closures on the sleeves have lost their......... velcroness. it has become a pain especially when wearing gloves. there is no dirt or gunk in the velcro and the eiger has always been washed as per instructions. any suggestions on how to rejuvinate the velcro woild be appreciated.

All velcro craps out over time
,You need to replace the female side ,The male side stays the same, buy some velcro unpick the old ,sew on the new ,you may have to do this by hand ,depends were it is on your jacket ,Use a #60 nylon or polyester thread

thanks for that, however i think i will contact m.e. and see if they can resolve this as i feel the velcro should last longer than it has.
