'Worn black side out, the jacket works like a conventional insulated performance top, but as temperatures climb - on a glacier for example - the jacket can be reversed with the aluminium-coated silver side reflecting approximately 40 per-cent more of the sun's rays than the black surface.'
Why not just take it off when you get hot?
Surley a major selling point would be for teenagers to leave the house it it blackside facing(so not attracting mothers attention) and when they meet their chavy friends they can wow them by turning it inside out and becoming supa chav!!
Innovative tent... that is remarkably similar in layout to a Saunders Snowcat, the primary difference being that had a single cross pole in the centre rather than one at each side, but the side by side tunnel with extra crossing ridge poles for stregnthening and holding out the bells is just the same.
What short memories some people have, though it is a good concept and one I'm happy to see returning (the Snowcat was discontinued a few years ago, I got the last one and a fine tent though I sold it on as the missus wanted something with a wider inner)
Pete.
ps edit... hmmmm, how did that suddenly get bumped into my attention? Just seen all the other dates, so no idea why I just came across it, only looking at Latest and the front page. Guess the server's just realised it's Monday or summat...
