< goes off to see how much a spare fly costs>

hmm, I'd imagine that 2-way zip is going to weigh about .5kg

That is good news. I know  I have emailed Terra Nova suggesting a 2 way zip and I am not the only one. However how I can justify a new fly on that basis is hard to imagine.

That makes the pole cover more useful to keep the rain out if you leave the top of the zip undone for a high vent

Robin, May i enquire where you got your line loks?

BBF also please point me in the right direction of where you got your custom foot print?

Cheers fellow LC owners!

I bought the Line-loks and Dyneema from Bob and Rose at  www.backpackinglight.co.uk

What diameter Dyneema is best for replacing guylines?

Erstwhile OM'er Morph, aka Team-IO, sells Dyneema, line-loks and more. I've toyed with the idea of replacing guylines etc but never got around to it.

One day tho'. One day....

Adam, Shuttleworth I'm using 1.5mm Dyneema "Flo light" it think and line locks. The custom footprint came from the same place here. Robins link to Bob & Rose is another good one, they are also a pleasure to deal with.

Derek I cant really justify it, I was joking. I'm sure Petesy said to Matt C on another thread they should be able to retro fit it though.

Yes he did. Although I'm sure Scottish mountain Gear could do an equally good job....
