Intriguing. I spoke to Paramo HQ a couple of weeks ago and they said they had no plans at present to produce an Adventure Velez Light in a women's fit.
Hoorah! And double hoorah for them producing it in black and not puce green or 'girly' pinks.
I've got one and, so far, have found it excellent although it has not yet been used in the rain. The side-zip ventilation system is superb and there is a chest pocket that accommodates a map comfortably.
I confess that after the recent discussions I simply had to buy one - but don't know when I'm going to be able to use it! I've been journeying through London a lot of late and... well... it'd've been rude not to pop in, really.
My main driver is that the old jacket is very old and a very heavy and bulky job from nearly 6 years ago, and I've tended to use Buffalo when it got wintry and a light Montane smock on other occasions - but I just found myself unable to use the Buffalo until it got really cold and the Montane just didn't give any rain protection.... I really needed a waterproof jacket and this seemed an opportune moment to get one.
Wonder if I can get a day pass tomorrow? Certainly next weekend anyway!
