Judith. You'll get a roof, and a floor <stone>, but
that's all.No fire place, no seating etc. Cheers.

Hi,Twiglegs.Yes two of us spent a November night sat on that table.
Not something I would recommend .We were in the trees at the top of
the bank with a fire going at 5.30am the next morning.
We were only out for a day walk at the time so, not much
back up.Cheers.

I know Oyster Clough and the cabin very well, as I said it is a roof if the weather is pants, and it is possible to sleep on the table as long as there is no more than 2 of you. They also have a signing in book.

I've only rarely pitched my tent beside a hut. Basically, if it has four walls and a roof, and it's open for use, then it's mine for the night. I'd sleep on the table in preference to the floor.

Twiglegs,no,no,As I said "sat"on the table all night.We only
had normal daywalk's gear with us, not even an extra fleece.
Even the one waterproof coat we had was a Paclite. Yes a
cccccold night.
I generally only wear a Buffalo top,no base wear, especially on a daywalk. Food had gone at midday, teabags and gas OK,accident happened
2.30pm,we hoped to reach the Snake, got to Oyster Clough about six pm..
Like I said a long long night.Cheers.
