Hi

I'm looking to climb Mont Blanc next summer.

I've been looking at the companies below but not sure which to go with, has anyone used / know anything good or bad about them, or any other suggestions?

http://www.montblancguides.com/

Thanks!

We used this company...http://www.chamonix-guides.com/pages_stat_en/compagnie_en.html

Booked direct with them, booked our own budget accomodation in chamonix & used Alpibus transfer.

The guide company was very good, we booked on a 5 day course & where pushed all the way by some mad french guy, unfortunately we where beaten by the weather & didnt make the summit, due to high winds but we had an excelant week anyway. My mate said it was "PGL on speed"

Hi

Have a look at martin morans website http://www.moran-mountain.co.uk/index.html he runs a course and has a good success rate on the mountain. Also a very knowledgable and approachable guide.

John Taylor at Mt Blanc guides has my recommendation - I celebrated my 40th (2005) by summiting with him having never done any mountaineering (if you can call Mt Blanc that).  And I suffer with heights.  Professional, inspires confidence and very focused on his clients.  I've done other trips elsewhere and no-one has matched him.
