Starting out?

I'm technically challenged OK so keep it simple please!

Recently home to find the other half has been bothered by hacking/virus and has formatted hard disk as a result.

Now clicky threads in posts or indeed on other websites don't produce anything. When there is an address I can always cut/paste them but I used to be able to just click on them and voila!

Any simple answers to help me get this back please?

I've only had problems for the last few days. If you look on the Goretex socks thread, you'll see an example. Ed posted a link that others can see. I just get an OM message saying thread is closed!

I'd take it personally if I were you, Mike

It is happening to me on a number of websites so I don't think it is site specific but a computer/laptop issue.

I only get link problems on this website.

 Back and Forward arrows are not that clever either. Sometimes need to click on them 2 or 3 times for anything to happen.

Right, thanks Jim, I agree that the back and forward arrows need perseverance but I'm getting this all over since reformatting.

I can live with this but it is removing some of the pleasure.
