So come on, someone out there must have stripped off for a bit of a wander in the hills. Was it pleasant and how did you hide your, erm, embarassment when meeting other walkers?

I once went hiking in Lapland, and most of the huts are by a cold lake and some have a sauna. The convention there is the strip off after your day's hike and leap into the lake and then dash into the sauna.

They have a different attitude to nudity there; more to do with freedom. I wouldn't dare do that here though. Too many letchy creeps.

Yes I've done that aswell just before embarking up Kransic Crack on Shepherds Crag.

Good job I did because I would have done it on the 2nd pitch otherwise.

Isn't this the guy who's walking to John O'Groats? He passed my town, and got in our local paper (although police didn't find him)

..and why not?

As long as he has some RED items of clothing in his haversack in case of emergency!

I've done boots 'n' panties walking, but even Hamish Brown's done that.

One evening out running in the hills, I caught up with another runner who was stark naked (apart from his shoes). We had a pleasant chat, he explained that it was such a lovely evening, he just felt like running naked.

I don't think I could cope with all that jiggling about myself.

I was once leaning out of the window of my flat when a jogger ran past in the street below. As he passed I noticed that his "bits" were hanging out. It was a hot day, and my immediate reaction was that he must be feeling pretty sweaty down there. Only afterwards did it occur to me that he was probably a flasher.

If I were a woman with smallish breasts then I would probably enjoy jogging (in a remote area) naked, but as a bloke with swingy bits I think it would be too uncomfortable.
In fact, just the thought alone is quite uncomfortable.
Nah, I think I'll just stick with my Rohan Bags for now ...

Good point Tony. Medium or large without a bra is pretty uncomfortable.

Tony -

Have you experimented with different breast sizes already, or shall we ask Richard Gear to run a test?

For blokes, maybe he could recommend a breathable/waterproof tape to keep everythnig under control?

Marcus, I *have* experimented with different sized br..... No, I refuse to fall for that one :-)

Seriously, my g/f used to jog a lot and being a D-cup she had to experiment with all kinds of bosom-uler stabilising devices, and found that a tight fitting 'sports bra' beneath a crop-top did the job.

I still can't visualise me running the Pennine Way in nothing but a sports box .....

I have been more sizes than I care to think and Tony is quite correct, although I think there is still a lot manufacturers could do to address this issue better. Sometimes even a sports bra is not good enough.
