They are mighty tasty this brand, the ones I've had so far at least! Waitrose deals on boxes of these from time to time are very good too I recall.

Geobars are nice too though of course, you're right! So are Tracker bars though too!

No wonder I do need to lose a bit of weight now!

Hint: it's worth checking the contents of cereal/muesli bars carefully. They tend to be higher in crisped rice than you'd imagine. Personally I prefer flapjack-type bars with more oats, plus fruit etc if you want it: better value for money and better nutrition. OTOH some folk prefer the muesli bar concept/experience

I like geobars too, and they sell a wonderful range of chunky flapjack bars with fruity bits in or chocolate stuff on at the college refectory which are ideal for walking. And those flapjacks Mr OutdoorsGrub sells are rather yummy too

Ooooh, thanks Kate, I will look out for those flapjacks then!

Where on earth does the name flapjacks come from then? Anyone know, as it is such a weird looking/sounding name for a foodstuffs?

Ahhha! I knew it was mentioned somewhere in Shakespeare's works, the flap-jack was!
