We're looking for three blister-prone volunteers to help us test some ENGO blister prevention patches. Just drop a line to jon@outdoorsmagic.com and we'll select three testers and send you some patches to try out. Massive response, no more left. I'm going to see if I can get some more from the importer though for, erm, a wider test

I'm in the other camp... I hate blisters... so I don't get them any more. But for those who love their blisters, I hope this stuff works! Meanwhile - no email from me!

I never get blisters (I will wish I had not said that) but I do go through the heels of all my shoes before the rest wears out; so I will buy some of these and see if they work any better than the other brands of patches I use.....

.jpg) Yippee! I'm a chosen one! (Cue Life of Brian quotes) Much more pleased I was chosen for this than for that Osprey pack thingy last year!

Thanks for the massive response guys, quite frightening how many people out there are martyrs to their blisters... That's it for now, but I'm going to ask the importers if they could send me some more samples for a testing plus Happihike, who sell a wool-based blister solution, literally balls of cushioning wool also want to do some testing, so we're looking at a further three or so testers for that. jon

.jpg) Right, I've finally used these patches. I've not had a blister to test them on since they arrived due to not getting out as much as I'd have liked and converting to lighter footwear. But, recently I've worn through the heel lining on a pair of hiking shoes have and these, in turn, have started eating sock heels so i put the patches over the damaged area in the shoe heels and this has stopped the sock eating issue. The patches have been on for several months now and show no sign of peeling off or of earing through. Not strictly what the patches were designed for but as close as I'll get (I hope) in the forseeable future.
