Starting out?

Hi All

I am new to the site, but I like what I have found so far .

I have been walking/hiking for a little while, and now have the opportunity to really get out there and enjoy the hills much more frequently. I am based near the Black Mountains/Brecon Beacons....so if there is anyone else in the area...please say hi

Well in actual fact it would be nice to hear from folks all over the place.

I am getting more adventurous, and my gear is improving/growing so I am hoping for a fab year ahead.

I'm out in the Brecon Beacons as often as I can be, and we may be having a weekend Meet in the Brecon Beacons soon - keep an eye open!

Thats me ,i got the peaks not 30 mins away,the yorkshire dales not 30 mins away,the Lakes not 1 hour away,snowdonia not 2 hours away,Trough of Bowland not 15 mins away do you want me to carry on oh yeh and the pennines not too far ....Scotland tho is about 3 hours away .......

Kate, I am near Abergavenny and work in Cardiff...so not far away at all.  I will keep my eyes open for any meet-up's happening around here.
