The gear was good years ago when only a few shops stocked it. Plain colours, and functional. Now they are selling to the masses, they are becoming the Scandinavian version of The North Face or Bergaus.  They have started adding horrible colours and trim to appeal to Chavs, 14 year old girls, '70's glam rock fans, and Diddy and Tim.

That'll be my old '70's climbing gear that i posted a picture of for folk to have a laugh at? Whoever thought those colours would come back? I've posted it again, so you or Diddy might want to buy it. Haglofs may even copy the colours for next season.

Well perhaps they are a bit like a Scandinavian version of TNF. The principal difference seems to be that they actually seem to still care about nearly every part of their range.

Its almost like no one told them about doing a few high end products and then using the brand to make money Or maybe its just a scandinavian thing.

If anything the colours actually seem to be getting toned down in the UK - more charcoal and less budgie green for instance.

That haglofs shop is great news as its local to me just got my first bit of kit, kazoo pants and they are superb. Let the haggling begin. I used to shop their in the early 90's funnily enough, good to see its still going strong.

Went to said shop today and must say what a nice fs setup they have.

Went to collect boots that i paid for 3 weeks ago and walked out with extra wind-stopper and Lim 35 rucksack ..

So much for the recession .
