Well got back yesterday from spending a night at Mermaids Pool (Kinder area) in the Peak District. I walked a route and hiked up and down big hills.

Then set up camp. New tent, new kit to try out. Had a great time by myself, nothing like a bit of solitude to help clear your thoughts. Peaceful. I even brought a digital camera adn took some pics.

I may put some pictures up and a write up if anyone is interested.

Brilliant absolutely brilliant.

I'll definately be doing it again.

Well,

You had better not left any rubbish as i'm heading up to Mermaids pool over the weekend.

Out of interest where did you park your car?

Jason

Jason:
Parked my car at Bowden Bridge Car park near the camp site in the old village. I think it was a couple of quid for the whole day. And I did stick a note in my car saying I was over night Hiking and would be back in the morning. (though not very good for the crime side of things)

And no I was very very careful about not leaving any rubbish, not even biodegradable ones. Hell I even carried back a piece which was just blowing around. Doing my bit!

It was a bit naughty but very enjoyable. I _will_ be doing it again sometime!
