As the title suggests, she out and testing her little lungs out and our patience already!

Kerstin Emma Van der Sande-Jones arrived at home after a short (but extremely painful) 8 hour labour on Sunday morning, one week premature weighing in at a respectable 8 lb. 2 oz.

Thanks to all who have wished me luck over the last few weeks and all those who helped when I first asked about climbing whilst pregnant in a thread on this site.

Yep, well done Heidi. .....

Our second was much easier than the first! For a start off Sophie was born at home so there was none of that running back and forwards to the hospital. I never seemed to have change for the ticket machine in the car park and I remember I trapped my finger in the revolving door. God that hurt like hell, its difficult to explain but believe me you don't want to do that too often.

Congratulations Heidi,the sleepless nights start now and last at least 18 years, then its on to 'empty nest syndrome'
ahh the joys of motherhood---its a life sentence (in the nicest possible way Ben!)
