But the new stuff from Nikwax is amazing, it's replaced the old tinned stuff but can now go on wet or dry and works as soon as its rubbed in! (but is designed for all smooth leather/oiled Nubuck GTX or not) My suede is a little shiny and smooth now, but VERY waterproof!!
The New Meindl care product range is specifically made for Meindl footwear and can be used on other quality footwear too. It is made by Grangers, but is a different formula to the Grangers range. The wetproof spray comes in a pump-spray can not an aerosol. The Sportwax is a natural product that waterproofs and feeds the leather, unlike others on the market.
An addition to the range is the cleaner foam for cleaning the inside and outside of your boots. If the Gore-Tex lining isn't cleaned then it stops breathing. After-all you'd clean your Gore-Tex jacket.
The whole range has been put together to help maintain and care for what is probably the most important piece of walking kit you'll own.
