Been using these Boots for the last 5 weeks now, As stated above they felt great straight out of the Box.
Walked in hot, cold & Wet conditions the boots held there own !Walked up Snowdon on June 7th my feet were kept cool and Dry and most importantly Blister free!Think these will shortly become my all time favourite bootsI Paid £116.00 from Trek & Field that included some discount which they offered me on the day!
Recieved a grey pair of these as a warranty/goodwill replacement from Salomon UK for my SCS boots.
Very pleased, considerably more support than the SCS, higher ankle and extra two lace hooks, more rigid sole, comfy straight out of the box and look great. Clever idea is the half way lace hooks that lock the lace allowing you to choose a tight ankle and loose foot or vice versa.
Only plodded through the muddy, icy, snowy fields with the dog so far. Will give a better review after my next decent walk in a couple of weeks. Looking promising though.
