I am thinking about a trip to Corsica next year - July/August and wondered about the possibility of running the GR20 in a week. I am an experienced fell runner with lots of long distance race experience and am happy doing longish days back to back.

I can get my base pack weight down to sub 4kg (incl tent) and it looks like I can resupply on a nearly day to day basis.

Any thoughts/advice.

A company called Corsica Aventure (www.corsica-aventure.com) offered a guided 7-day tour (5 days on the GR20) called the 'GR20 Express' last year. I can't see it in their brochure this year but the itinerary was:
1. Transfer Calvi to Calenzana
2. Calenzana to Ascu, 24km, 9h00, +2,676m, -1,608m
3. Ascu to Bocca di Verghju, 21km, 8h00, +1,630m, -1,402m
4. Bocca di Verghju to Bocca di Vizzavona, 44km, 10h00, +2,597m, -2,870m
5. Bocca di Vizzovona to refuge d'Usciolu, 39km, 8h00, +2,385m, -1,555m
6. Du refuge d'Usciolu to Conca, 40km, 10h00, +1,376m, -2,895m
7. Transfer Conca to Calvi or Bastia
