im thinking about havin a couple of nights at dulyn bothy next wk.

if anybody is out that way this weekend, can you post the snow conditions on here?.

At present the snow is powdery, and deep in places. There is also a bit of windslab about, so take care. Yesterday the high crags were looking extremely icy. The walk to Dulyn could be a struggle if no one has broken trail yet.

thanks for the info, will probably be dragging a bag o coal up there to, so will be prepared for a long haul!!.

In a word

No.

Freezing level has been above the summits for sometime with no new snow - and a similar forecast for the week to come.  What hasnt melted has been washed away or is in a sheltered gully.  This day last year I was in -16C and 1 foot of snow in Southport and we went to Crosby to see the icebergs round the iron men.

Today, I chose not to wear a fleece as it is +12.
