I may be in northern Spain in the Garrotxa Volcanic Park in May and wondered if anyone had been around there and could share ideas for a week or so backpacking.
In particular, what are the GR11 or HRP like round there at that time of year ? High up may still be snowy I imagine so I was wondering about the park itself although I do prefer more wild and remote places and I fear it may be a bit "tame"?
We've done bits of the HRP, Gr10 before, wildcamping or staying outside refuges but don't want to do anthing that needs crampons, ice axes etc.
