Just took delivery of the jacket version and seeing as I couldn't find any reviews on it I thought I'd have a bit of chunter here.
First of all my medium sized jacket weighs 287 grams on the calibrated scales in the lab at work, pretty close to the claimed weight.
First impressions: it looks like some big sheets of fabric sewn together compared to the more technical jackets I'm used to which made me think the fit would be awful but it actually fits very well, it's a bit close under the armpits but in no way uncomfortable, I'll have to see if it affects the comfort or breathability. Hood fits closely so you won't get any kind of helmet under there but for such a simple construction it does a good job of fitting your head. The peak is a bit small and I'd prefer the zip and hood enclosed my face a bit more but it's no big deal.
It's a good length at the front but best of all it's cut long in the back, a big plus for me!
Basically this jacket is close to perfection for me; I just want a jacket to keep me dry, not make me too sweaty and be as light as possible so on first impressions this does all of that. Let's hope we have some rain soon so I can try it out in anger!
