For Sale Montane Extreme Jacket  Small (38"/96cm) Olive and Black As new, but with very small nick in fabric about 2" from zip flap on lower left hand side.Tags still attached. Bought for myself but turns out I needed a medium. Come with detachable hood. Extreme Jacket

The definitive single layer, soft-shell, high specification, lightweight mountain jacket.

The Extreme Jacket is a base-layer, mid-layer and outer-layer combined. For optimum lightweight comfort and performance it should be worn against the skin or over a fast wicking technical layer such as the Bionic. This is a clothing system for the really active user who wants to minimise the stop/start routine associated with adjusting a traditional layered clothing system. Through multiple venting options the Extreme Jacket offers comfortable use over a wide range of winter temperatures.

Is the jacket still available? If so, do you think it would fit me - I'm 5'4" and size 8-10 clothes...I just ask as you found the coat too small. I'm in Oxfordshire so is it possible (and how much) to get posted?

Many thanks,

Sam

p.s. I'm interested in the live coat - wasn't sure if you meant you had an olive and a black one, of if the coat is just olive with some black bits!

Hi Sam,

Unfortunately the coat sold late last year.  I'm not sure how you delete these threads so I'll have a look and take it down if I can.

As for size that size of coat could well fit you.  I found Montane's sizing a bit rigid, like I said this coat seemed really tight yet other garments bought in that size fit fine.  I ended up going for a Buffalo which has a lot more sizing options, but unfortanutely are more expensive.  The smocks from both these companies are good too.

Hope you find the coat you're looking for.

All the best,

Adam.
