Well I have at least seen one (only just appearing in shops).
The outer fabric looks to be the same as on the VR lite (I wish they'd let us know this for sure!). So you can judge off reviews/experiences of that a bit - rather more windproof than traditional equilibrium.
Longg sleeves, genuinely close cut with no stretch - definetly a good idea to try on before getting one I suspect - and a really rather nice hood. Properly protective/adjustable with a non trivial peak.
So a sort of souped up, hooded, heavy wind shirt.
I have got one on order (it fitted a little better in medium instead of my more usual small), partially for the hood and partially because the sleeves fit me nicely. (rare!). Ask again in a few months and I might be able to say more
My local Rab store in Brussels is crap and they expect you to buy something if they order it in and it crazily over priced. I will have a a chat with Mark at Ultralightoutdoorgear.com and figure out whether I will go for a medium or a Large.
Thats a shame too about the lack of info which Quantum it is as that would help me figure out how windproof it is.
