Anybody got a 1 pint Kelly Kettle for sale, please. My mate pestered me for mine, i weakened and let him have it and now I miss it. Well used condition would be perfect;ly acceptable
I am a fisherman as well as a walker, and they used to be known only by Irish fishing gillies, who would row you to an island or a beach on one of the big trout lakes (Mask, Corrib, Arrow, Melvin, Erne) and brew up with a blackened kelly kettle tucked into a hawthorn bush.
I find the bigger ones are easier to get going but they are so elegant as a concept that I use them whenever I can, even though they're really too heavy for multi-night walking.
Please feel free to PM me, I have a Kelly Kettle that is surplus to requirment. It is well used and has a very slow leak but remains serviceable. It will come with its origianl bag and the pan supports that fit on top of the chimney.
