I am one of those people who books tickets way in advance to get the cheapest deals. The downside is that if the tube mucks up I have to cough up. The difference between an off peak single and an off peak return is minimal so I have a ticket going begging. Bangor is really well placed for the Carneddau and N Snowdonia.
