Starting out?

I bought some Asolo Stynger boots last year and have been trying to break them in over the last few months. I wore them over the winter and had no problems (although i didn't walk very far) and now I have to break them in (I'm trekking across the mountains in Cuba in November), they're killing me! I'm getting blisters on both my heels and worse on my bigger foot, I've tried blister plasters, zinc oxide tape, 1 pair and 2 pairs of socks, 2 innersoles (to lessen the movement) and I've tried a tongue depresser, does anyone have any ideas or may it be time to get some new boots?

I have really narrow feet and have been struggling with too much movement in the boots and have tried lots of different pairs and end up getting frustrated in the shop and give up! Does anyone know of better brands to suit narrow feet?
