Just wondering have any folks come across the above mug and if so what are your thoughts on it? Can you point one in the direction of where you might purchase one?
Also have any members of the forum any thoughts on thermal/insulated mugs that do the job of keeping tea or coffee warm & don't easily spill? I spend quite a bit on time on the train & would like a mug that would suit me & I thought about the Contigo.
Two things about it - it is obviously American & seems to be hard to get in this country. Any I've seen advertised on Amazon etc cost an arm & leg. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
The autoseal feature seems a bit unnecessary - presumably designed for clumsy Americans who spill hot coffee on themselves and then sue the coffee seller.
There are plenty of thermal mugs around that do exactly the same job of keeping drinks hot - Lifeventure and Aladdin are two that come to mind - and they are a heck of a lot cheaper than Contigo.
I have a couple of the Aladdin version for car camping and they are very effective at keeping drinks hot for long periods. Also, the screw cap means that you can put the drink to one side without inadvertently spilling it.
Is that the thing you're after though? If so, it might help people help you if you say 'yes'... And, if so, is £24 for two that expensive? How much are you looking to pay? You suggested that it was hard to find in this country (which I assumed meant UK). Google suggests otherwise.
Thanks for reply. Where did you see 2 for £24. I would certainly be interested in a price like that. There are plenty on Ebay but they are sourced in USA & postage is terrible. I tried google but only found BigRedBargains who must be out of business as I couldn't get their site to take my money? Tried phoning & emailing without response. Gerald
