I can't find much info on this bunkhouse, so has any body been to it of late or knows if it is still open? (I would like to go there towards the end of October) I stayed here about 15 years ago and remember Frank, the chap that runs it was pretty old then.
On a previous thread Montgomery wick (cannot PM him) said that it also had a shower? It did not when I was there.
I rang the Old Forge at Inverie, and they gave me Franks mobile number, I spoke to him, he sound as if he is still going strong and is still open, now as said with shower and electric power.
Stayed there this weekend, Kayaked in & yep, he's still there @ 86 yrs old & f this c that all the time, great bloke & @ £2 / night its gotta be the best value in the world on a cold wet day!! he loaded the fire with coal & even provided abottle of scotch while he regailed us with his jokes & tales!!
