Putting this up cos, within the law of averages, there will be a number of OMers out there who are currently seeking gainful employment.

Its taken me over two years and I have retrained into a completely new profession but I got the phone call this morning...

So...for those of you looking, keep looking.  Someone has to get the job and you have to be in it to win it.

(I have been on OM for some years now, but under another name - have gone underground as OM is a public forum and my real name needs to be protected from Google - some may recognise my writing style...some may not, but who has dissappeared from here recently).

Is your new job with MI5 then?

Congratulations BTW

Congrats. Not fun being out of work if you're the type to want to work that is. Plus teaching?! Brave! Plus side you will have good holidays? You will get bored of that comment from your friends BTW most of my teacher friends all get annoyed by that now. If its Primary school age it seems to need more prep judging by my teacher friends, think its because you teach all the subjects.

I thought of teaching once. Lasted all of 60 seconds then I pushed it far out of mind.

Good luck
