The edge path along the plateau is around 14 miles, but if you add your walk to and from the edge than could be 3 to 6 miles depending wher e you start. And if you drop down to sup and sleep in edale thats another 3 to 6 miles.
If it were me I would park at SK11300 90513 (free parking), walk over the road, over the stile and follow the path through the woods to a footbridge at SK11434 90163 cross the bridge and follow the path right up until you hit the edge of Kinder. Then I'd go anti-clockwise past Fairbrook Naze along the edge to Sandy heys, down to Kinder downfall, down to Kinder low, then check out the wool packs, pym chair, crowden tower.
Then if it were me I would drop down in to Edale for the night, it's up to you here depending wher yo camp you can drop down in a number of places though dropping down via grindsbrook is good it's sketchy and hard to navigate at night. Then you can re ascend the same way so you've done the whole edge or you can go up ringing roger which offers some weird rocks and some easy but fun scrambling.Carry on anti clockwise to crookstone knoll and then right along the edge,Blackden brook is my favorite way down but it's a faff for the last mile, as you have to walk along the A57
so you might be best to descend at seal stones edge which meets back up with the Fairbrook path.
