Hi Stefion,

If things go well will be around Sept. before I could think about 'hitting hills', I'd have to see how 'hill fit' I'd be by then. At the moment even going up a 1k steepish hill, (on pavement/paths), hurts.

I went out for a cycle on Fri. for 1 1/2hr and could hardly walk afterwards!!

I reckon I should just give up this exercise marleky and slob out!!!

That way I won't injure me self!!!                                I AM joking, I'd go even more nuts than I already am if I thought I'd not be able to get out in the hills again. Even if I have to use crutches.

As to Lakes and Wales, haven't been to them for ages. Will keep in touch and when back properly we could sort something out. If not there then in Erse.

 Paul.

Hi Stefion,

Will be an other few months before I'll know what's happening. I have an other MRI scan on 4/8/11 to see if  the cartlidge has healed!! And the scar tissue on knee tendon, outer ligament has reduced, so I don't need an OP to fix knee!!

I fecking hope I don't need OP, otherwise not know how long it would take to heal and I'd be back on my feet again!!

Two other problems have 'cropped' up because I can't use left leg properly. My hamstring has 'shortened' and need to work on that too get flexabilaty back. Also I have lost a lot of muscle around knee and quads so will have to work to get that back, so I can manage to walk steep hills, etc.

I am going "ape sh1t", I just want to be out in hills!! It's the fourth time in 24mts I've done damage to that knee. I want it to get strong, so won't "blow" and can get my 'fix' of 'getting my head showered' in the hills/mountains.

I hop I'll see you soon,

 Paul
