hi huys,

 well i was gettin old last time i posted, now im just ...well..old   ,big   4 0 snuck up on me !!  anyhow, still life in the old dog yet and im looking to get out soon to do about a 10 mile med/hard mountain, with some forest on route to pitch tent and really feel...away from it all, you know, not just a camp site but a wood maybe to throw a basha up, light fire and chill away from the world.

  ok, i tink that sounded kinda sad but you get the idea.

 im in staffordshire so north wales is my fav but anything wales is good.. any ideas guys??

ps, wifey and my 4 and 7 yr old money sucker say i cant do knife edge again so thats out

  not been up to much of late to be honest , you know when you get the need to go do a mountain and camp out.... well thats me just trying to squeeze it in around work n kids as you do.

Do you think he should retire?I can double that, plus some.I was
still doing the TGO Challenges in my seventies. I'll leave you to
tell Gettinold what getting old is like.My memory is not
like it used to be.
Just a point, who tells a 40yr. old what he can and cannot do.
Perhaps he is an old 40.??

I hit 40 this year. I did the GR20 last month and I'm going to the Dolomites in September to try out Via Ferrata. Never been so active.

Life is what you make of it....
