I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia 10 mini pro and the battery is shite!

I bought a cable and cigarette charger for it on ebay and tbh its shite and does not charge the phone, well it does but at the rate of about 1% every 30 mins.

Not good enough as i now like to use it as my sat nav in the car as its tidier but it does not charge.

So other than Ebay what other companies out there do you trust (probably pay a lot more for the same cheap item on ebay).

An original battery from Sony costs £35 and one on Ebay can be had for £2.99,feeback says they are shite so how would i know a battery at £12.99 is not just as shite??????????

Am i going to have to pay full price?

Ta very moooch....

Diddy - there was a great link to a site that rated 3rd party mobile batteries posted on here a few months/weeks back; try as I might I cannot find it...

....might be worth a search (I know, I know)...

Its worth checking out forums that have a section for your phone, ones I use for Android are XDA Dev and Modaco. Quiet often they will have reviews of specific 3rd party batteries.

I've bought a few spare unbranded phone batteries from SuperEtrader, as well as some higher capacity laptop batteries. They've all performed well to the rated capacity, and as well as the branded originals.

They don't seem to have spare batteries on their direct website any more but do still show some via their Amazon shop - I don't know if the one you want is there...

Try 7dayshop - I've bought generic camera batteries from here and they've been OK. They also do Sony phone batteries eg BST-38 (not sure this is the one you need!)

Not expensive, and you've probably some chance of comeback or a refund if you're not happy..

Richard

7 day shop are probably the best for this sort of thing,  every battery I've bought of them have worked as well as the origanal.
