I've just had this brilliant idea:

OK, it's probably a missprint, and it's only in a photo name, but the hill is Scafell, and not Scarfell.  I'm not going to get into stuff about pronunciation, because I already have a headache.

Look, I hate to be a pedant, but... it's Scafell.  The pronuiation may be Sawfell, for which you must be commended, but you don't spell it like that.

Odd-this mountain appears on my maps as Ladhar Bheinn.  You must have a map with phonetic spelling to help the ignorant English.

NO! Not "Helvelyn".  It's "Helvellyn".  Sorry, just finished doing spelling with my 10 year old and have become hypercritical....
