Just getting my stirring spoon out! Those members in the principality seem to be ignoring the fact that there are 2 matches coming up. Aren't these proper matches or is there apprehension?

Any match between England and Wales is a 'proper' one!! Apprehension? Not really. One has to be fatalistic.

No World Cup thread started neither, yet. Noone interested? To the Welsh fans - Sure I read about a player selected for the Welsh team who has had a full season in Australia. If that is true I thought Wales had this rule about selecting from overseas teams. Might be totally wrong here but have they dropped it or was it never a rule?

What about the one when Wales fielded the Penarth 2nd XV?

I think I once played them on an Easter tour, or was it Pencoed!

"Pencoed" sounds like a Welsh school for both boys and girls. Back on subject, I'm sorry Hanson won't be playing - I would have liked to see him try to pick up our Samoan centre and carry him like he did to an earlier youngster playing his first international.

No, Frum, it looks like it, it certainly doesn't sound like it and, like most Welsh, I'm not sorry GH isn't playing.

Seriously, I think the England pack looks solid but the backs are more trialist, whereas Wales appear to have picked the best team available given injuries. Should be interesting!

Who, apart from the natives, has any idea what any of those unlikely combinations of letters which pass for words in the Welsh language sound like? ... like most Welsh, I'm not sorry GH isn't playing. Don't blame you.

The English tend to have similar problems with any language, including their own, in most cases. As for that "match", least said soonest mended...or forgotten, at least.

Only just notified of these. I did play at Pencoed on an easter tour many years ago. A good Welsh Junior team, splendid welcome both on and off the field. A credit to Wales.
England v Wales and vice versa. Score 1 all. But Wales win on points! England "sent homeward tae think again"
