Looking to go to the Pyrenees for the first two weeks in September.
Do I need to book huts in advance?
I'm going to the Ordesa National park and staying in Ref de Goriz, Ref des Sarraadets de la Breche de Roland, refuge de Espuguettes, Refuge de Bayssellance.

Anyone got any advice on how busy these huts are the first two weeks in Sept?

Goriz and Sarradets are very busy especially on weekends.I will be there with a group for two weeks from 28 August.All huts are booked and deposits paid.One person has dropped out so if you are interested turn your messaging on and I can let you know which dates we are at the huts so you can take the dropouts place if suitable

thanks. I have no idea how to turn messages on.

I have booked into the Goriz for 1 night.

I climb (not very good - can lead Diff at the most) but I'm also suffer from vertigo. I have been doing via feratta in the dolomites and loved it. Do I need via feratta equipment for the faja de las flores?

To turn messages on go onto -my profile -and near the bottom tick the messages option.Not sure about via ferrata equipment for the Faja de Flores [not needed for the Faja De Pelay]but think you need it to come down at the end of it.We are not climbers just trekking.

You may also need to book baysellance if it is for a weekend as a lot of people stay there to climbe vignemale.
