As I'm off next month to Canada/US I need to start fleshing out some of the finer details of the trip.

I'm looking to spend about 4 days on the Bruce Trail out of Toronto. Have no real handle on it other than internet research.

Bit of a long shot but anyone have any practical info that might be useful?

Would be really nice to do some climbing but would need to sort out a partner locally... not sure how likely that is?

Well... you've brobably seen the Bruce Trail website. I think I'll be meeting someone involved in the Bruce Trail, but it will be in November, so it won't be much use to you.

Thanks for your helpful reply.....

I've done this sort of thing before and its never really worked for me. Bit like a blind date you never quite know what your going to get. Then its the awkward bit of "well actually the weather looks a bit iffy... errr maybe we'll go tomorrow??"

In fairness it works both ways.

Cheers Paddy, yup seen that (got it bookmarked) was wondering if there was any practical info like"you must do this or see that or the best place to stay is but beware of" sort of thing.
