And I can independently confirm that Blairgowrie's a nice place to spend a day or two - their Highland Games were on last Sunday and the runner up in the dog show made it worth the trip in itself.

Tempting - and I could walk there in 20 minutes, saving on travel costs. 

We missed the Highland Games this year - who won the tug of war?  I really must make the effort next year!

I know the home team won the Blairgowrie V Rattray challenge, but missed the proper tug o' war result.

I'll have you know that the Wee Black Dug & me came in 2nd in the "Best 6 legs" category. In a strong field, containing a total of two entrants.
