I see Hendrik is starting to write reviews for backpackinglight.com and also he starting a website that charges folk to read reviews of UL equipment.

Is he? Got a link, Stephen?

Interesting stuff; cheers, Stephen. He's certainly very active and passionate about the whole thing. I reckon this Summit could be a really good event. Even if it's not in Wales

He is indeed Sean, He could be the lord of the bloggers, I wonder does he have a UL conch

His nose does look a little bulbous..

Seriouly Hendrik does write a good Blog and he must have impressive Cv for when he applies for his dream outdoor job (watch out GT) I am still on the fence when it comes to blogging, twiteering and facebooking. Who give a crap what Stephen Fry had for his breakfast. Oh no I am turning in to my Dad

He has an environmental consultancy business. I doubt very much if the blog is another attempt to become a pro gear reviewer. Anyhoo. Ultralight Summit. Thought it might be of interest to users of the UK's leading outdoors site. . . . . . . . . And then I went and posted it on here by mistake

Cheers for putting me straight Sean I just got put off a bit when I read he was raising funds this to pay for time for doing the reviews, ignore me I am just annoyed today that I am not out on the hills. Back to the gear Summit, it would be something I would be interested in attending if it was somehere not so hard or not too expensive to get too. Cheers for posting it.

If i remember correctly, he was looking for backers to produce an UL Backpacking DVD.
Of course, a few bloggers have used/started a blog to advertise their business/start a career in the 'outdoors'.
