I'm looking for some picture frames to mount some of my images - I rather like those from Nielsen, but they work out as rather expensive for a few (I'm looking at 30 or so).

So wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a source for frames for A4 (or at a push 10x8s), 10-15mm black alu surround, acrylic or glass, with a mount?

I'd like a fair bit of 'white' space around the A4/10x8 content.

I realise that's not an exact description, but any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

I quite like the Ribba range from Ikea Ribba.

About 17 mm frame thickness - takes A4 picture.

Price varies depending upon the finish selected.

If you are looking for 30off a local picture framing company might well offer you a much better price than you would get for "off the shelf" frames. I am sure you could get exactly the style you want unless there was something very special about the beading.

Thanks for that (Diddy excepted); I'll look at the Ikea idea and had not thought to negotiate a bulk buy of custom frames - I think previous experience of ££££ for single examples of same has coloured (sic) my judgement.

Hello Ed,

Hope you don't mind me asking but did you investigate the bulk buying of frames.

If so, can I ask how you got on and were they interested in doing a deal.

Many thanks
