I'm with you there, Mike - douse the bloody thing.

And what a wanky animation!  All I got from it is that the torch will go to some corny tourist spots, be taken on a train and pass rather too many lighthouses.

The voiceover says "It's our moment..."  No it isn't. It's a 'moment' for multi-national corporations, worldwide media conglomerates, and a bunch of corrupt IOC leeches.  Will we as a nation - or London as a city - gain lasting benefit from paying for this profligate four-yearly beanfeast? Will we fuck as like.
