When I try and read an article by clikcing a link from the home page I get the eror below. I have sent an e-mail to the site, but heard nothing back. Its a right pain. Sometimes I can get around this by finding another link (i.e. by going to the news page, or following a link to a competition and thereby finding a different link to the article I actually want to read), but sometimes this fails too. Is anyone else having the same problem. I am running firefox, both on windows 7, and on Ubuntu and get the same error. 404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

It's been going on for a while. I have the same problem. I can read the article if somebody has started a 'Talkback', or Googling OM and the relevant article. I'm using Win7 and IE9.

.JPG) what Mike says. Months now. It's the same on all the mobile browsers I've tried on the phone too. Considering the hooge amount of advertising that Magicalia process, you'd think they'd have the wonga to finance a tech bod to just make things work like they did before - surely they must have a big 'undo' button or 'system restore' to sort this cockup?

It works ok on a few recent versions of Firefox, for both XP and Windows 7. OT, but it looks as though Magicalia have run away. The site is now Immediate Media Co Ltd

 Perhaps they should re-badge to....
'When it'll Pay Media Co Ltd'
|
 |
Formerly BBC Magazines, Origin Publishing and Magicalia ... apparently.

Immediate Media is some kind of amalgam of the 3 organisations I listed above (from their website) - I've no idea of the senior partner / acquirer / acquiree statuses involved though.

Mike and Mole, agreed, it has been going on for some time! Glad to know I am not the only one. Anyone else care to share if you get the same issue or not and what browser and OS your running.

So as well as BikeMagic, GolfMagic and Practical Parenting, we're now also associated with cross-stitching.com (sounds like a guest publication for HIGNFY) and ... LoveYourHair.com

I did think that cross-stitching might be appropriate for Mrs Nesbitt... ;-)

This 404 error is really starting to irritate now. Please, please, please can it be sorted in 2012. For the record I get the same problem with both Mac and Windows using Safari and Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
