TrekMates seem to be continuously improving their stuff, judging by what I see in TKM (that about the only place I do see it...). They started off at the low end of the market, but do seem to be trying to make better stuff.

Fine if you're an alpine cadre soldier, but white TNF downies* are probably a bad idea for skiwear because they'll get filthy in no time.

* as seen in Ellis Brigham. But then, maybe at the price EB charge, and some of their clientelle, these jackets get discarded after a week's apres-ski, and the princesses move onto the next bit of expensive clothing...
