.jpg) You're on your own, apparently

I've got a son under the age of 10 so there's no way I was going to be allowed to forget about Christmas!
Not started yet, probably won't. Not panicking either - 8 days from now it's all over, and nobody dies (that's Easter )
er... what about the Massacre of the Innocents? That was an awful lot of babies dying!
I'm fine for a few more days yet! I was wondering why there were coloured lights in people's windows!
.jpg) I've a son in his fifties and grandsons in their twenties, now pressis for those ages don't come with Santa. Cheers.

Oh Sh1t, 8 days!! I'd better get shopping and sending cards!! Sooner it's over the better. Not having a family, (as such), any more, it's another day in the week. I will cook myself something nice, sirloin steak, gammon, roast spuds and veggies. I eat turkey at least once a week, so want something different for a change. Merry crimbo and happy new year to all.

...I was wondering why there were coloured lights in people's windows! Oh, is that why my neighbour's house is lit up like Blackpool seafront? I thought he was just being weirdly exhibitionist As this seems to be the seasonal greetings thread I'll add my tuppence-worth. I wish everyone on OM a very pleasant and contented Christmas. Enjoy yourselves!

This thread has just reduced me to needing a glass of malt How many days of repeats - not just on TV, but what I have just said, cos the Mother out-law is deaf The need to partake in the last minure battle for food, and then the thinking "why did I eat and drink so much". Role on New Years Eve - and my next trip away.
Upside - no work for 10 days Downside - all the aforementioned tv repeats and 2 weeks of being "nice" to people who, in normal circumstances, you would cheerfully throttle Be glad when it's all over - However, Merry Christmas all
