Is anyone else stuck in work today?

I've drawn the short straw and I am the only person in the company in work today!!

There's nothing to do, the internet is very slow and I'm fed up already.  At least its a horrible day outside so I'm not missing out on a great day in the hills.

Any suggestions on how I can get through the day would be greatly appreciated.

At least I'm in work though, so surely that means I'm not contributing to this countries demise.  I work in an office building and no one else is in, its them thats causing it.  Also when I popped out for lunch it would appear that half of my local town are in fact shopping and not at work.

Get on with your work like most of us have to do!

I'm finished now though.

I finished last week...(joys of being a teacher after nearly 30 years being a rep in the food trade which meant we worked 24/7 coming up to Christmas including up to midnight on Christmas Eve sometimes))

and

just come back after a somewhat pleasant wander up and over Whernside

Thanks Mike...I do appreciate your over-riding concern for my wellbeing with a pedantic search for accuracy in posts.

( 1/2 term in six weeks...easter 6 weeks after that!  Its a tough life, but, hey, someone has to do it)
