I know Buffalo mitts are sized small, and it is generally advised to go up a size, but does anyone know if this also allows for liner gloves?

I'm a Medium in just about every make of glove, would be a Large according to Buffalo's size chart, but am wondering if I should get an XL as I intend to wear powerstretch gloves inside them.

I'm normally a size medium.
I did have a pair of Buffalo Mitts in size large but sold them as I found them slightly tight across the widest part of my hand.
I now have a size XL which are fine, both with and without thin, inner gloves.

Even worth considering XXL if you're ever going to want to put them on over anything slightly thicker. Its a tiny bit silly in some ways (Pretty sure I've got one in XL and one in XXL and even the XXL is OK without liners. Mostly medium in gloves although it can vary to large.).

Cotswolds tend to stock them so might be easy enough to check sizing.

Thanks for the replies, seems like I need an XL.

Was in Cotswolds a few days ago and no Buffalos in stock unfortunately, otherwise I'd have bought them then.

Just to throw a spanner in the works.

My palm measures around 9 (around the circumference)", and a Large is a nice close fit. They are a bit tight to get over the initial cuff though. Buffalo gear is meant to be a snug fit.

I've got small-ish hands and normally a size 'M' glove fits. But my Buffalo mitts are 'L' and are a snug fit.

I bought mine in Cotswold MK and the store still had stock in a selection of sizes but the sales guy said they were selling fast.

If you buy from Cotswold, take your Ramblers, National Trust or English Heritage membership card and you'll get a discount

With Mike here - I have large, not easy to get on but actually easy to use thereafter.
