I wish I had an Alpkit pipedream. I should have bought one when I briefly had the chance to a year ago. Unfortunately other bills cropped up back then and I didn't have ebough money.

Would be great to just chuck all my gear in the car and head to the Lakes, Wales or Scotland somewhere remote and isolated to escape another dreadful Christmas, Cliff Richard music and the mobs swamping our towns and cities and congesting the roads.

I pretty much hate everything about Christmas so much so that this year I've not bothered. I've celebrated Thanksgiving instead! What a great day! You don't have to buy cards and presents for people you probably don't like, and get to eat Turkey, drink beer and watch the NFL instead! Fantastic!

Yeah I have to say I actually have enjoyed watching other people get flustered and rushing about buying stuff, trying to figure out what everyone would like.

I have just sat back watched sports and tried to avoid anything to do with christmas on tv. I've even listened to the white noise generator on my phone while having a dead sea bath, and tuned into mexican radio and mariachi music via the tunein radio app on my phone, that certainly drowns out anything to do with christmas and noisy congestion.

I stayed awake all night on xmas eve, and most of the morning on xmas day then duly went to sleep pretty much avoiding xmas again this year. There's probably gonna be disappointed family members and friends who got me cards and gifts but I really couldn't care less.

Hopefully Alpkit will have some more pipedreams in stock soon. I believe last time I checked it said they were expected in January.
