hi everyone i just have some couple questions about Arc'teryx products

i was looking for online store for Arc'teryx and found these two pages

arcteryxoutlet.net and arcteryxoutlet.com. however the price for the Arc'teryx jackets

here are really cheap compare to original price ( Fisson SV and Sabre SV were 200-250 USD)

so my question is are these products authentic? has anyone bought Arc'teryx products from

here? if anyone knows please leave comments thanks

I'd give them both a miss. I the UK at least companies must put a postal address on their website to comply with a law, dont know which. these guys just have an email address with a domain that doesnt match the web address, not very common for websites?

We've had a few jackets in work recently from some very similar looking north face websites and all were bad fakes.

my two pence.....

There's plenty of nice stuff around in the sales at the moment why take a chance on something that is most likely fake.

You've been Tango'd!
Guys you've all fallen for the latest weapon in the SPAM wars.... you get a plausible looking question in a forum linking to 'cheap' gear. A dodgy looking link is just sooo last year. Note that this is the users FIRST post. There are always a few numpties that'll take a look (the spammers intention) and then be seduced by the price. Gotta hand it to them full marks for sneakiness and effort.

OM's account signup must be too easy to get around as I've seen a number of these sorts of post recently!

This has been a Public Service Announcement!

EDIT: Strangely in all my travels I've never seen any fake Arc'teryx apart from a really really bad copy of a Beta AR in Darjeeling (of all places) and that includes China where theres so much fake everything its just unbelievable. Anyway wonder if Arc'teryx are annoyed or flattered that people see enough money in it to want to fake it?

joshua, if you want some genuine dead bird stuff for free get yourself along to the search function wherein you find full details where someone has kindly posted where and when they'll be leaving all their dead bird (and other must have brands) gear available for pick up to anyone who wants it.

Oh bless.... I'm feeling rather mellow after a few drinks. Anyway if I find all my kit gone, a battered to death Chinaman and a pile of very well used Mountain Warehouse, Trespass gear I'll know that a least one person did care about brands after all!

Happy New Year all!

Funny cos i bought a jacket from arcteryxoutlet.net and they sent me the wrong one and wrong size, it was arcteryx however but not the gore-tex sidewinder.

i tryed to sort it out but all they said was they didnt have it in stock and thought i might prefer this one, they then said that they are loosing money and will send the the right one in 6 months (what a load of shit).

really pissed me off as iv now lost £160 and it was obviusly a scam that i fell for

cant think of anything to do though cos i would have to send it back to get a refund and that would cost me another £60 with tax.

any suggestions or am i screwed?

I'm pretty sure it's the latter...

Unless, of course, your post is just the latest incarnation of the ever-evolving scam to get punters to look at your website whatever the cost...

If you buy something with a credit or debit card you may be able to get a refund. If the goods do not match the description (including being counterfeit)you are entitled to your money back.

If the company you bought the goods from will not refund your money, the card company may be able to seize the money from their account to reimburse you. There are of course certain criteria you will need to satisfy.

Visa debit, for example, has a scheme called "chargeback", which you can take advantage of up to 120 days after the initial purchase. The key with this is that you are dealing with visa who takes the money from the merchant using their payment services, not dealing with the merchant themselves.

Get googling if you need more information.
