 Does anyone know one of our fellow forum members Climbing Hamster? I made a payment for some Rab Gloves he was selling on here, 3 weeks ago now. I've heard nothing since. I'm sure there's an explanation but I've send a few messages and had no reply and I've noticed he's not been on here for a week. Can anyone shed any light onto it? Has anyone bought stuff from him before and had similar problems? Like I said, I'm sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation but I am a bit concerned.

 Was going to buy a Shangrila 3 off Hamster and asked for photos 10 days ago but never got any so never followed up with the purchase.
Shame as I sold the akto to buy it but money better spent on something the whole family can enjoy.
Bit strange imo.

FoF, could you not ask what ever way you paid to suspend or cancel payment? If you paid by Paypal they have a thing, 'resalution centre', to try and solve problems. If that's how you paid, get in touch with them.

I live and work in a school, i get 1 half day a week off school which i have to do everything that i cant do at any other time, like get to the post office.
Im in the middle of term and trying to plan a 1047 miles 55 day expedition around Wales this summer which will start in 54 days time.
My apolgises to you Didster for not get your photos, i misread your email, think it said you would contact me after you had sold you Akto.
Thats my mistake.

He also replied promptly to my messages, so I can vouch for him.

 I've had plenty of interaction with the Hamster on another site. Seems like a fine chap. Perhaps he simply doesn't have quite as much time on his hands as some on here appear to do?
